Innovations in cognitive computing, which enables autonomous functionality, are leading to the introduction of robots in retail. We advise retailers and technology firms as subject matter experts on emerging applications, and on devising valuable analytics in consideration of these complex systems.

PRI is a founder of the Retail Analytics Council (RAC), the leading organization focused on the study of consumer shopping behavior across retail platforms and the impact of technology. The RAC Retail Robotics Initiative is focused on uniting industry, academia, and investors around the common objective of advancing robotic and data applications in retail environments.
Established in August 2014, the Council is an initiative between the Medill School, Integrated Marketing Communications department, Northwestern University and the Platt Retail Institute.
