When you register to download a publication from the PRI website, you are asked to provide your name and email address. The way in which we handle the information you have voluntarily provided is as follows:
- When you download a free, sponsored publication such as a PRI Research Article or the Journal of Retail Analytics, your email address will be added to our mailing list and also may be shared with the sponsors of the specific publication you have downloaded. When you download a Research Article or other sponsored publication, you acknowledge that we may share your contact information with the sponsor of that publication. The sponsors may contact you to offer additional information about the products and services they provide.
PRI does not use “cookies” to collect information about visitors to our website, except when you voluntarily register to download a document, as noted above. We do not keep track of the pages you have visited and for how long in any way that can be tied specifically to you.
II. Your choice regarding the use of the collected information.
You may opt out of the PRI mailing list at any time by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and asking for your name to be removed. Generally, these requests are completed within two business days.

Only designated PRI personnel have password-protected access to the information you provide in order to protect you from inappropriate disclosure of your information by an employee.
