Claudia Lehmann is the Deputy Director, German Operations for the Platt Retail Institute. She studied economics and worked for METRO GROUP, one of the world’s largest retailers, for more than 11 years. Starting as an SAP consultant in international implementation projects, she moved in 2010 to the Innovation division. There, she was responsible for various innovation projects that were included in METRO’s Future Store Initiative.
In the summer of 2013, she co-founded the gmvteam, which provides management services in the areas of innovation and concept development, as well as neuromarketing, with a strong focus on implementation.
Lehmann is responsible for developing the firm’s education, training, and process optimization areas. She is a master in Design Thinking and trained as a moderator for innovation workshops. She also is the community manager for the “Next Commerce Partnership” association, a German network of executives responsible for multi-channel marketing in the retail and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industries.
